BACKGROUND During the years Nyeds Hembygdsförening (The local heritage centre at Nyed/Molkom) have gathered a large collection of pictures, documents and other memories from Nyed. We have felt a need for sharing this common legacy not only with those visiting Nyed/Molkom, but also with those all around with their family roots in these parts of Wermland. We have tried to make this media database also in an english version. You have two options: 1) If you click on the english flag in the upper right corner of the opening page, all database field names are translated into english. However the text within the fields (e.g. description) are not translated. 2) If you use “Google Translate” you get a reasonable translation of all ASCII-text - even descriptions within fields and get a much better understanding of the material presented. As a bonus you have quite a few laughs.
